Awesome service, and the food was amazing. We had the aguachile, tacos de asada, al pastor and the octopus. Highly recommend trying the octopus tacos !!!! Definitely worth the drive from Oceanside.

Shrimp tacos and shrimp ceviche were an explosion of flavor and freshness. Guacamole was delicious as well. Super cute place with lots of outdoor seating and great service. This is our new favorite Mexican place!

My friend had recommended this place to me for a while, and I've driven past so many times I finally stopped by on my lunch break to give them a try. So glad I did! Customer service was on point, the man at the counter was super helpful and very personable. Only downside to the place is that they're in a small space which shrinks the amount of parking in the area. We ordered a chicken quesadilla and 3 taco combo, but my 3 taco combo turned into 4 tacos as the man told us they were cooking a new batch of rice. The chicken quesadilla was large and packed with chickens and my tacos were excellent in flavor. Don't miss trying the cream cheese jalapeño salsa at the bar. Hands down the best I've ever had, perfect on any tacos, and the cucumbers they have next to them as well. Looking forward to coming back to try their ceviche since it was sold out when we stopped in.

We stumbled upon Terramar Kitchen Truck, parked right in front of Tractor Supply, and decided to give it a try (they also have a sit down restaurant down in Escondido) --and I'm so glad we did! Isabel, the owner, along with her son Carlos and daughter Suzy, are some of the kindest, most genuine people you'll ever meet. We ordered the carne tacos, which were perfectly seasoned and cooked just right. At only $2 per taco, they're an incredible deal! We also tried their spicy agua tostada--absolutely delicious and a must-have if you visit. What truly blew me away, though, was Isabel's kindness during checkout. I was having trouble connecting to the internet to pay via Zelle (they currently only accept Zelle or cash), and unfortunately, I didn't have cash. Without hesitation, Isabel said not to worry and fed us anyway, trusting that we'd come back to pay when we could. Her generosity and trust are something you don't see every day, and it left such an impact on us. If you're craving amazing Mexican food and want to support a truly wonderful local family business, please stop by Terramar Kitchen. You'll love both the food and the incredible people behind it. We'll definitely be back!

This excellent restaurant is a small family run customer focused eatery. The food was excellent. It's way out of our way since we live by SDSU & this place is in Escondido. But we will be back. I had the Coco X. It was a bit pricy. But everything is these days and it was worth every penny. My family had combinations of pan fried fish and shrimp tacos as well as a beer batter taco with beans. The flavors were way above the norm. My parents are in their 90s. It was warm outside. So with our being careful regarding their health with COVID still out there, it was nice that there were so many outdoor seating options. One of the things (beyond the food) was the customer service. Wow! The attention and care was like no other. Isabel came to say goodbye as we were in our van and getting ready to go. She wanted to check on us. She was so sweet. The male waiter (don't know his name) was also very accommodating and helpful because my mom is in a wheelchair. Respectful, caring and nurturing are adjectives that describe this kind man. We will be back later.

Excellent service from David. The food was great. Small outdoor dining area on street front with more tables in the back. The parking area is small, but there is also street parking available on the side street. The quesabirria tacos were excellent. The meat was tender and flavorful. The tortillas were delicious and fresh, and the consomé was rich in flavor. The side of rice and beans were authentic and tasty. Our server, David, was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. Great service.

My friend invited me here last minute, since we had a change of plans. We sat outside and got chips with a side of guacamole. It was very creamy and smooth, but I prefer guac with chunks. Their agua frescas were really pretty! I got the machata and she got the tropical one. They were both very refreshing. For food, we shared the birria ramen and coco x. The ramen was good, but a bit salty. The coxo x had fresh seafood presented inside a coconut! It was tasty! Service was a bit slow and unorganized, but I think they were new at the time of my visit back in June. I wouldn't mind coming back to try their other menu items!
